Artists Statement:"Throughout my life I have been interested in art. I have integrated my artistic talents in all aspects of my life. My artist eye is present while designing magazine covers, painting murals for community projects, working with young students and private moments of inspiration. My interest in "plein air" painting has been inspired by the beauty of the Colorado landscape. I live in Greenwood Village, Colorado with my husband."

Frances Flicker
After a ski trip to the majestic Colorado mountains, my husband, Howard and I decided to move to Colorado. This is a wonderful place to live and raise our family.  I have a daughter, Jacqueline, and two sons, Benjamin and Robert. We love to travel and enjoy the world together. Besides art and teaching, my favorite things to do are bicycling, skiing, golfing, reading, cooking and go out with friends and family. Professionally, I have enjoyed  teaching art in the elementary, middle and high school level for 18 years. Now I live in a home overlooking Mt Evans and on a clear day I can see the mountatin range from Pike's Peak to Long's Peak.  Aspen trees, mountains, sunny days and family fill my life.

I came to understand that I was given a gift...of art in both spirit and body."

"I still receive a thrill eery time a project is finished. an frequently that old peaceful feeling sows up in my art to remind me of the gift given to me from my ancestors....Like an old friend come to help make everything better."
